Partners in Excellence

There is a strong tradition of giving at Providence Day. Partnership with our generous community continues to be an integral part of our school’s continued excellence.

The Partners in Excellence Dinner is the school's Fall recognition event for donors giving $5,000 or more in the previous fiscal year, and celebrates all  Cornerstone Society members with cumulative lifetime giving of $100,000 or more as well as honoring the induction of new Cornerstone members.

In September, PD hosted the inaugural Partners in Excellence Dinner at The Ballantyne amid music, food, friends, and special guests. Brian Field ‘94, former head boys' basketball coach and current faculty member, spoke about how Providence Day motivated him to pursue a career in education, and how grateful he's been for the many special relationships developed with students over the years. He then relayed a video message from one of those former students, Grant Williams '16 of the Boston Celtics.

Williams created an endowment and mentorship program at PD and spoke about the importance of giving back to those who inspired him. The school was grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the generosity of the Head of School Circle, Innovators Circle, Chargers Circle and Inspiration Circle donors.
