Nomination Information
CRITERIA:
Student-Athlete
- A graduate of Providence Day School 5+ years ago
- Excelled and had a positive impact on a varsity sport and/or team
- Received honors for his/her accomplishments
- Demonstrated exemplary character and sportsmanship during his/her varsity career
- College and/or professional achievements will be considered
Coach
- Varsity coach at Providence Day School
- Retired varsity coach
- Current coach- served for 20 + years at Providence Day as a coach
- Demonstrated exemplary character and sportsmanship during his/her varsity career
- Received honors for his/her accomplishments and influential in a program’s success
- College and/or professional achievements will be considered
Supporter
- A Providence Day community member who has developed and fostered the growth of athletics at Providence Day School by volunteering or serving on committees and/or boards.
SELECTION COMMITTEE:
- Head of School
- Head of Upper School
- Director of Athletics
- Associate Director of Athletics
- Faculty member (rotating every three years and selected by the Head of School)
- Current Coaches (2) (rotating every three years and selected by Director of Athletics)
- Current member of Athletic Hall of Fame (rotating every three years and selected by the Director of Athletics )
- Alumni Director
NOMINATIONS:
Committee must receive two (2) nominations per candidate to receive consideration.
